Bakerrae x Chachalate at Hatch Coffee
Bakerrae x Chachalate at Hatch Coffee
We’re so excited to announce our next pop-up collaboration, and this one is extra special! We’re teaming up with Hatch Coffee, one of our absolute favourite coffee roasters in the city!
If you’re a coffee lover, you already know Hatch delivers some of the best brews out there. Pair that with Bakerrae treats and real, handcrafted chocolate from Chachalate, and you’ve got the ultimate trio!
Find us at Hatch HQ in Markham on Friday, December 20, for a cozy, delicious day filled with pastries, chocolate, and expertly brewed coffee. Whether you’re looking to treat yourself or pick up some last-minute holiday goodies, this is the perfect spot to kick off the weekend!
Our speical Balikbayan box for this collab will include:
(1x) Ube Coconut Burnt Basque Cheesecake Slice - Sweet (but not too sweet) and delicate Filipino Ube (purple yam) infused in a rich coconut cream to make a smooth and creamy basque cheesecake.
(x2) Black Sesame Caramel and Chocolate Chip Cookies - Adapted from Little Fat Boy recipe, this cookie takes my favourite dessert tangyuan (glutinous rice balls filled with black sesame filling) into the form of a chocolate chip cookie. A comforting combination of dark chocolate, sweet and chewy cookie batter, and a nutty black sesame salted caramel that pairs perfectly with coffee!
(x1) Pandesal Garlic Cream Cheese Buns - Similar to the Korean version but we made it using the staple Filipino bread, pandesal. Our homemade soft and chewy pandesal is filled with garlic cream cheese and dipped in garlic butter, topped with shredded parmesan cheese.
(x1) Chachalate-Espresso Mousse Cup - A dark chocolate mousse infused with Hatch Coffee's concentrate, delivering the ultimate blend of bold coffee and decadent chocolate that is balanced out with a chantilly (sweetened) cream.
PICKUPS
Will be at 802 Cochrane Dr Unit B with Hatch Coffee Roasters from 10AM-2PM!
We will not be doing deliveries for this drop, sorry!

Woman-run. Hand-made. Asian flavours.
Bakerrae is a personal journey to Filipino flavours — drawing upon my childhood with a twist.
Toronto's food scene is seeing many pandemic pivots, but Bakerrae aims to explore new ground: you won't find anyone else topping croissant-like pastries with calamansi curd or caramelized onions in soy sauce anywhere else.
