Okay, I’ll admit I’m doing this mostly out of curiosity but we’re back with another pop up this Saturday, December 7th and it’ll be EVERYTHING UBE! We’re teaming up with our pals at Morning Parade Coffee Bar once again cause for all our east-end peeps, we didn’t forget about you <3

Morning Parade was where we kicked off our very first pop up earlier this year, so it feels only right to (almost) end the year where it all started! And cause we missed our regulars!

You guys showed up for our everything pandan drop, so let’s see how many ube fans are out there. For this weekend’s pop up we are bringing back some of our popular treats as well as well as new experiments! We can’t wait to serve you guys once again!

Pre-orders are now live via our website so make sure to grab a box in case you miss out! Each box will include:

(x1) Ube Coconut Burnt Basque Cheesecake Slice - Sweet (but not too sweet) and delicate Filipino Ube (purple yam) infused in a rich coconut cream to make a smooth and creamy basque cheesecake.

(X1) Ube Coco-Knot - Our brioche is filled with our homemade Ube halaya (jam) and coconut flakes, each one braided into these beautiful knots and topped with a dallop of more Ube halaya and coconut flakes.

(X1) Ube & Matcha Marble Cookie - A deliciously soft cookie featuring a vibrant swirl of matcha and ube, combining the earthy richness of matcha with the nutty flavour of ube.

(X1) Ube Mont Blanc Cream Puff - A light cream puff filled with airy Crème Chantilly and topped with a rich swirl of Ube Mont Blanc.

(X2) Ube Black Sesame Mochi Muffins - Chewy, moist mochi muffins with the perfect blend of sweet ube and earthy black sesame.

PICKUPS

Bakerrae is a personal journey to Filipino flavours — drawing upon my childhood with a twist.

Toronto's food scene is seeing many pandemic pivots, but Bakerrae aims to explore new ground: you won't find anyone else topping croissant-like pastries with calamansi curd or caramelized onions in soy sauce anywhere else.
